Regeneration Pollination - Let's Build a Toilet

It's First Friday!  Start the month connecting with people working to regenerate their lives, communities, bio-regions, businesses, and futures.

This month we're doing something different: a toilet-raising.

Communities raise a barn together in a day. Our partner, Green Sphere Gardens in Homa Bay County, Kenya, is building a demonstration farm where schools, families and farmers can come and learn regenerative agriculture by doing it. They need to finish the toilet for staff and guests. The pit is dug and lined with brick. The walls of the toilet are up. It needs $475 to finish.

So this month we'll raise it together. Green Sphere Gardens' founder Fredrick Angaga Onyango will join to introduce the centre and the toilet project. Since 2022, Fredrick and his team have taught fruit-tree propagation and vegetable growing in more than a dozen Kenyan schools. The demonstration centre is the next step: a living farm, open to everyone who wants to learn.
